Vietnam Women's Union supervises special subject 2023 in TDM

Early April 13, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union organized a delegation to monitor the 2023 special subject in Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city’s Hiep Thanh ward.

Accordingly, the delegation periodically monitors the following contents such as advising on the implementation of Directive 21-CT/TW of the Party Central Committee on further promoting women's work in the new situation; construction and implementation of planning, training and fostering all level-Women's Union cadres...The delegation also supervised the implementation of the "Godmother" program.

Reporting to the delegation, leader of Hiep Thanh ward’s Women's Union said that in the first quarter of 2023, there were 7 orphans in the ward, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The ward’s Women's Union quickly approached the situation and gave gifts for these children. The association also gave 2 gifts worth VND600,000 each to the local orphans, due to other causes. It is expected that the ward’s Women's Union will organize the "Godmother" program for orphans on the occasion of opening the Book Festival at the park of quarter 5, sponsoring 2 children in the form of providing the monthly support of VND 500,000 per child...

On the same day, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union organized a delegation to monitor the 2023 special subject in TDM city with the above contents.
