Get-together for religious dignitaries, ethnic groups on occasion of 2015 Tet festival held

Attending the get-together were Pham Van Canh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Huynh Van Nhi, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thanh Liem, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Public Relations Committee; Tran Thanh Liem, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with representatives of sectors in the province, religious dignitaries, the Chinese community and other ethnic groups in the province.

At the get-together, Mr.Tran Thanh Liem informed participating delegates about the local socio-economic, political and cultural performance in 2014. The province last year spent more than VND570bln on social welfare…

The local religious dignitaries and ethnic groups also thanked provincial leaders for their attention to activities relating to religious belief, preserving Vietnamese cultural identities.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Pham Van Canh acknowledged contributions by religious and ethnic groups to the local development. He affirmed that provincial leaders would continue creating favorable conditions for religious and ethnic groups to well work, making more contributions to the local socio-economic development.
