Get-together to mark for Youth Union’s 91st founding anniversary held

On the evening of March 24, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee held a get-together to celebrate the 91^st founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26,1931 - March 26, 2022) with the theme of " Aspiration to dedication - Youth Life" at the historical site of Thuan An Hoa War Zone in Thuan An city.

Provincial leaders give flowers as congratulation to provincial Youth Union

The event was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee together with leaders of departments, sectors, localities and Youth Union officials of Song Be and Binh Duong over periods.

At the event, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee reviewed the glorious tradition of the Youth Union during the past 91 years. With constant efforts for many consecutive years, the province’s Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organization received the excellent emulation flags of the Youth Union Central Committee. Especially, provincial Youth Union was honored to get the second first-class Labor Medal from the State President and the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" award by provincial Party Standing Committee last year.

In the framework of the program, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee awarded the mementos "For the young generation" of the Youth Union Central Committee to 12 individuals with great contributions to the cause of educating, training and fostering the young Vietnamese generation and Youth Union activities; presented the Ly Tu Trong award of the Youth Union Central Committee to 2 individuals; awarded the "Typical Young Vietnamese Doctor" award of the Youth Union Central Committee to an individual who is a young doctor on the front of Covid-19 prevention and control; offered provincial "Excellent Youth Union cadre” award to 5 Youth Union cadres with many contributions to  the Youth Union work; awarded the "Young Talent" award to 5 outstanding individuals.

On this occasion, SCG Vietnam Co., Ltd. and provincial Youth Union donated the symbolic board of the community playground project "SCG Outdoor Gym" worth more than VND 530 million to leaders of Thuan An city and the city’s Youth Union for implementation in An Phu ward. Provincial Youth Union also received contributions from units and donors to "provincial Support Fund for disadvantaged youth” in order to take care of and accompany young people with difficult circumstances in the province.
