*On the occasion of the traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival and the Lady Thien Hau Temple Festival 2014, Phu Cuong ward in TDM city held many delegations to visit and present gifts worth more than VND350mln to 2,085 poor and disabled people.

* Binh Duong-based Viettel branch (Viettel Binh Duong) has just organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to pupils with difficult circumstances at Phu Hoa 2 secondary school in TDM city.

At the visiting place, the delegation extended the best regards to teachers and pupils at the school while presenting 2 bicycles to 2 poor pupils with good academic results in the last academic year. They were 2 among 234 bicycles awarded to poor pupils in Viettel Binh Duong’s charity program “Going to school together pupils” from the beginning of the 2013-2014 academic year.

* Provincial Women’s Unions at all levels last year mobilized members and donors to build 34 houses of compassion for poor women with a total expense of nearly VND1.4bln. Especially, members of Phu Giao district’s Women’s Union donated a land plot to a poor woman in order to build a house of compassion worth VND150mln for her.

In addition, provincial Women’s Union also suggested provincial Mobilization Board of the Day for the Poor to build 46 great unit houses worth nearly VND1bln and upgrade 14 others with a total expense of VND223mln.
