“Green Operation” Campaign-2018 Winter and 2019 Spring Volunteer Program launched

Early December 20, provincial Youth Union held a ceremony to launch the “Green Operation” Campaign-2018 Winter and 2019 Spring Volunteer Program in Dau Tieng district’s Minh Hoa commune.

The campaign is implemented in and out of the province from November, 2018 to February, 2019, with significant activities. At the ceremony, provincial Youth Union in collaboration with relevant units to carry out practical activities, including realizing a “lighting rural road” youth work of 2 km in the area crowded with Cham ethnic minority people; providing medical check-ups, medicine and gifts for 100 Cham ethnic minority people with difficult circumstances; offering 16 gifts to pupils at a charity class in Minh Hoa commune; donating a “Kim Dong bookstore” youth work worth VND80million…

The campaign aims to uphold the volunteer role of youths in building new-style rural areas, protecting the environment, strengthening order-security, contributing to the local socio-economic development.
