Late August 13, Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung and leaders of departments and sectors had a working session with Japan International Cooperation Association (JICA) on project of improving capacity of public traffic system in Binh Duong Province. This project ứa aimed at changing means of transportation from indvidual vehicle to public transportation vehicles to build up a society of traffic safety and environment reduction. Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung and leaders of departments and sectors are at a working session with JICA At the working session, Mr. Yukio Ishida, Head of Laision Officeof JICA in Ho Chi Minh City, highly appreciated the feasibility of the project in resolving problem of individual and public vehicle usage.He also suggested that so as to gain high efficient technical support, Binh Duong Province should choose competent officers and units to take over the project. Addressing the working session, Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung thanked for the help of JICA and stressed on the importance of changing transportation means which should be a difficult task.Reported by T.
