Inspectorate of traffic and transportation to enhance loading check-up at storage and warehouses

Nguyen Van Tu - Chief Inspector of Department of Transport, said that in 2022 the inspection and examination set 1,052 minutes and fine impose of more than VND 4.5 billion against violations on vehicle weight, oversized vehicles, vehicle registration, channeled routes, inland waterway traffic order and safety, and traffic safety assurance when construction on the road in operation.

In order to ensure order and traffic safety and reduce violations in 2023, the Department Inspectorate will strengthen inspection of vehicle loads at cargo hubs such as warehouses, yards, and ports, mines of construction materials to ensure order and traffic safety on roads and inland waterways, to coordinate with the locality to continue to correct the situation of encroachment on the roadbed and roadside, to divide traffic by rush hours and by routes on a number of roads in the province and to strictly handle violations. In addition, the Department Inspectorate will inspect and handle violations related to installing cameras on transport business cars, maintenance of the operation of the mobile vehicle load test station at KM 60+900 of DT744 road in Dinh An commune of Dau Tieng district.
