Japanese loves Binh Duong

At present, more and more Japanese people arrive in Binh Duong province. Aside from business, Japanese people have assisted the unlucky and joined positively in social and charity activities. Of these, Japanese businesses have accounted for a big relative quantity with nearly 300 enterprises. Despite difficulties of economic downturn, Japanese businesses' production and business have still developed stably. To reach this result, aside from paying attention to profit, Japanese enterprises has been interested in quality of products and laborers' life, helping stabilize output and labor force. As of March, 2013, the provincial IPs lured 93 Japanese businesses, capitalized at US$758mil. Vietnam-Singapore IP has 82 businesses, capitalize at more than US$1.6bil.At a seminar themed "Vietnam market under Japanese businesses' sight" co-held by the Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Mainichi Newspaper (Japan) on March 11, 2013, Mr. Nakajima Kazuro said that Japan has faced an old population but had hi-tech technology whilst Vietnam has had a young population and many opportunities for business. These characters have helped the two nations cooperate easily each other and promote their strong points. After learning and realizing potentials of Binh Duong, Japanese businesses will accelerate their operational scope to ensure investment efficiency. With potentials of a young city, Binh Duong has attracted many Japanese enterprises. Hidetake Senoo, director of Sai Gon Stec Co.Ltd in VSIP II affirmed that Binh Duong has enough advantages of weather, human, geologic position to lure Japanese businesses.Yamaguchi Kimio, president of Japanese Businesses Association's HCMC sub-society said that Binh DUong provincial leaders have facilitated Japanese businesses' development. In addition, he highly valued the province's dynamic development over years, especially synchronous infrastructure facility in service for investors. More especially, Japanese businesses have paid attention to laborers and focused on preference for workers.Joining positively in social and charity activitiesApart from production, Japanese has paid much attention to the unlucky in Vietname by various forms. Specifically, Japan's V-Heart organization has built over 10 sponsor and vocational training center for the disability nationwide. In 2006, the organization built the provincial vocational training Center for People with disability with the total value of 10mil yen and granted 2mil yen for buying equipment. In 2006-2007 this organization donated VD210mil to assist vocational teacher at the center. In 2008 till 2010, the body granted VND100mil for the center teachers per year. In 2011-2012, V-Heart took Japanese visitors to the center to grant gifts and purchase products made by the center's disabled children. In addition, numerous individuals and organizations paid gift visits to the center.According to Shodo, chairman of V-Heart Organization, we desire to help the disabled enjoy stable jobs to eliminate their complex.In terms of Thuan An Center for disabled children, Japanese government assisted over VND2bil to build a functional room for deaf children. During 7 consecutive years, Yashaki Company holds gift visits to the center's children and recruits over 20 deaf children. Moreover, many Japanese living in Vietnam hold gift visits to the center.Binh Duong people learn about Japanese cultureTo meet the rising demand on labor market, many schools and vocational centers have cooperated with Japanese to develop a qualified manpower. Meanwhile, foreign language centers have opened Japanese classes to train labor skills and working styles for learners.   Ryo Saito, Japanese teacher is teaching Japanese for workers.Japanese Institute of language and culture has 4 Japanese teachers. In a short time, the institute opened 4 training courses on Japanese language, luring 100-150 learners per course, counseled tens of cases with purpose of study abroad at Japan or of working at Japanese companies. "Learners in my class are busy workers at day and diligent students at night classes.
