Kha Dieu Dan pagoda presents gifts to the poor

On Sept.13, Tan Uyen district’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) and Police Agency jointly held a ceremony to receive 10 tons of rice and 1,500 boxes of instant noodle from Kha Dieu Dan in HCM city’s district 8.
The above gifts will be presented to poor households in Tan Uyen district’s communes of Tan Dinh, Lac An, Thanh Phuoc, Thanh Hoi, Phu Chanh, Vinh Tan and Thai Hoa township.
Tan Uyen district’s FFC also mobilized Kha Dieu Dan pagoda to donate VND35mln to the local program of awarding scholarships and gifts to poor children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2012.
