Director of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Do Khac Diep awarding the certificates of merit to outstanding collectivesAfter five-year implementation of the patriotic emulation movements, Binh Duong province’s culture-sports and tourism sector has reaped positive changes in all fields.
Noticeably, many exemplary role-models have been discovered from the patriotic emulation movements. For example, Binh Duong Fine Arts and Tourism Junior College made efforts in researching and renovating its methodologies; linking up with schools in HCM city and neighboring provinces to open training courses for the sector’s staff, contributing to raising their qualification.
Provincial Publishing and Movies Center was also a typical unit in overcoming difficulties and challenges to rise up and excellently fulfill its entrusted missions with more than 1,000 film shows organized for nearly 1mln viewers. Meanwhile, provincial Cultural Center obtained stability in the patriotic emulation movements.
After one-year inception, provincial Sport and Physical Training Center also excellently completed its entrusted missions. The center attended national, regional and world sports tournaments and pocketed 371 various medals…Many other units and individuals in the sector also had good performance in the patriotic emulation movements over the past five years.
For achievements done, two individuals in the sector were awarded the “Meritorious artist” title by the State President. Three units and two individuals were granted the third class Labor Medals by the State President. The Government PM also awarded the certificates of merit to three collectives and six individuals; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism conferred 8 emulation banners, 76 mementoes “For Culture, Sports and Tourism Career” and 59 certificates of merit to outstanding collectives and individuals.
Many certificates of merit and emulation banners from provincial People’s Committee and provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Director were also awarded to collectives and individuals for their good performance.
At the meeting highlighting exemplary role-models of the sector just held, Le Phan Thuan, deputy director of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the patriotic emulation movement in the whole sector, saying that the department would be determined to fulfill and exceed the set targets in the 2011 and 2015 period…
