Local party committee grants 50-year Party insignia to former State President Nguyen Minh Triet

On May 14, Binh Duong provincial party committee held a ceremony of granting 50-year Party insignia to former State President Nguyen Minh Triet. Attending the ceremony were Mai The Trung, secretary of the provincial party committee and comrades of the provincial party committee’ standing board.

Addressing the ceremony, Mai The Trung expressed joy and honor to enjoy task of granting the 50-year Party insignia to former State President Nguyen Minh Triet.

On this occasion, on behalf of the provincial party committee and local people Mai The Trung extended congratulation to comrade Nguyen Minh Triet. In return, former State President Nguyen Minh Triet said “this is a joy for both me and my family. I was born and grown up in Ben Cat district’s Phu An commune. At the age of ten, I joined in students’ movements in Sai Gon. In 1987, the Party organization assigned me to work at Song Be province. I worked at the locality for 9 years. I’m very happy to witness solidarity and development of Binh Duong province. I’ve lived in warm love of comrades, neighbors in Binh Duong”.

“Binh Duong has promised strong development in the present and the future. The local administration has prepared for all level party congress. I think that the congress is good opportunity for us to look back the done results and shortcomings. This congress will promote workgroup’s intellectual, listen to people’s contributions. I thank to love of comrades and wish Binh Duong to win sustainable growth and Binh Duong is always in my heart”, the former State President added.
