Local Public Security spurs mass mobilization work in new period

Implementing a program No.1-CTr/BDVTW-BCA dated March 27, 2009, the provincial party committee’s mass mobilization board and provincial Public Security have jointly mapped out plans with remarkable results, contributing to improvement of quality of mass mobilization work.

To implement the proposed plans, the provincial party committee’s mass mobilization board and provincial Public Security have steered units and localities to cooperate together. Accordingly, units and localities have spurred dissemination of legal documents relating to order security work, strengthened cooperation between local public security sector and Fatherland Front and membership organizations to excel the anti-crime and social evil work.

 A privileged family enjoys gifts from local Public Security. In terms of administration reform, the provincial Public Security has solved legal dossiers openly and transparently. Over the past time, the local Public Security force in cooperation with Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Order & Security Council at all levels has held over 13,000 promulgations with the participation of 353,801 people.

Therefore, the local residents have raised their awareness and offered over 1,600 valuable information sources, helping public security force find out 1,511 criminal violations and arrest 1,663 crimes. In addition, the local residents have mobilized 79 offenders to give themselves to the police, arrested 39 quarries and handed over 44 guns and hundreds of various bullets…

As for charity activities, the local Public Security in cooperation with localities and mass bodies have held gift visits to heroic mothers, privileged families, disabled children… On average, the local Public Security has contributed about VND200mil to the Repayment Fund and other social charity programs.

To excel the mass mobilization work in the coming time, the provincial party committee’s mass mobilization board and provincial Public Security have instructed localities to implement some key contents of improvement of action plans, acceleration of the movement of “All people protect national security” and so on.
