Ben Cat district’s leaders yesterday held a seeing-off ceremony for 265 new conscripts. Accordingly, the district sent 119 recruits to Regiment 271, 100 to Brigade 957, 20 to Commando 429, and 6 to Bodyguard Team 180. The new conscripts in this year are at 18-25 years old and graduated from high schools, colleges and universities. According to the district Military Headquarters, most of new recruits in this year volunteer to join the army, 27 of whom apply for long-term service in the army. In 2011, the Military Headquarters at 15 communes and townships in the locality sent 304 new conscripts to the district Military Headquarters.

Also the same day, Phu Giao district leaders held a seeing-off ceremony for 155 new recruits. In the ceremony, the district had 4 new recruits who are party members. The conscripts will be sent to Infantry Regiment 1, Infantry Regiment 209, Logistics and Technical Bureau, Sapper 429 and Regiment 87. At the ceremony, the provincial People’s Council vice chairman Tran Thi Kim Van and leaders of the provincial and Phu Giao district Military Headquarters granted flower bouquets, gifts and encouraged new recruits.
Meanwhile, Dau Tieng district Military Headquarters held a ceremony to send 215 new conscripts to military units. At the ceremony, local leaders congratulated and encouraged conscripts.
