Many people participate in voluntary blood donation

On July 7, Phu Giao district’s Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in coordination with Ho Chi Minh city-based Cho Ray Hospital’s Blood Transfusion Center organized the 4th voluntary blood donation campaign of 2022.

More than 300 people, including officials, civil servants, workers and people in the district, registered to participate in blood donation. As a result, the organizers received 231 blood units, equivalent to 80,850ml of blood. As of now, the blood donation rate in the whole district has had reached 70.98% of the year’s target. The district’s Red Cross Societies at all levels are still actively propagandizing and mobilizing people from all walks of life to participate in this campaign, striving to achieve and exceed the year’s target while contributing to the supply of clean blood for the treatment of patients in need of blood in the near future.
