Many significant activities to be held during 5th provincial Week for Young Workers

A ceremony to launch the 5th provincial Week for Young Workers was organized in Binh Duong new city on the evening of April 28, with participation of nearly 3,000 young workers. The launching ceremony took place with many significant and joyful activities, motivating a week joining hands to care for young workers.

The 5th provincial Week for Young Workers takes place when the entire country is implementing the Youth Month 2012. Hence, this event now absorbs the attention of the entire society.

To Huynh Van Nhi, vice-chairman of provincial People’s Committee cum head of provincial Steering Board of the 5th Week for Young Workers, this is a great festival for young workers. Therefore, sectors and enterprises need to show their attention to young workers, create favorable conditions for young workers to improve their knowledge and participate in socio-political organizations, ensuring a harmonious attachment between them and enterprises to realize market stabilization and serve socio-economic development.

After five times of organization, this week has so far received the attention of the entire society, especially the business community.

Nguyen Thanh Nghia, General Director of Dai Thien Loc Joint Stock Co. said that his company has always created favorable conditions for laborers to improve their professional ability while offering help to laborers who are in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, Becamex IDC subscribed VND100mln to provincial Support Fund for Poor Alien Youths. This fund also handed over cash gifts worth VND1mln each to 20 young workers with difficult circumstances.

Significant activities

With participation of at least 200 enterprises, this year’s Week for Young Workers from April 28 to May 12 will take place with many significant activities at provincial level, including providing free medical check-ups and medicine for 1,000 laborers; organizing classes on computer for at least 500 young workers; organizing at least 7 variety shows, 2 joyful market-days and introducing jobs to at least 2,000 laborers…

In response to this week, districts, towns and companies across the province will also get animated with 7 exchange programs between leaders and young workers; 7 legal consultancy programs for young workers; 10 variety shows; 3 consultancy programs for female workers; 3 programs honoring outstanding young workers…

“With the attention of the entire society, we hope young workers will actively work, improve their professional ability and have high sense of responsibility to deserve to be a vanguard force in the industrialization and modernization cause…”, said Mr.Nhi.
