Meeting responds the blood donation day

On April 7, the provincial steering board of voluntary blood donation held a meeting to respond the blood donation day (April 7) to improve awareness and behavior of cadres, party members, youths and unionists and people on significance and purpose of donating blood for saving people.

At the ceremony, Ho Hoang Nam, vice chairman of the provincial Red Cross initiated the blood donation day and mobilized 300 blood donors at the ceremony. As a result, as many as 225 units of blood were collected, contributing to save patients timely.

Also the same day, Thu Dau Mot city steering board of blood donation held the 2^nd blood donation campaign 2015. As many as 200 public servants and laborers of agencies, units and members of Red Cross societies of 14 wards registered to donate their blood.

In order to develop the movement of blood donation to agencies, mass bodies, localities and quarters, Thu Dau Mot city Red Cross Society always focuses on dissemination and mobilization on significance of voluntary blood donation.

In addition, Thu Dau Mot city has set up 14 sub-societies of voluntary blood donation, 37 sub-societies of blood donation at schools.
