Monitoring Group of Provincial People's Council: Conduct actual survey of quality of food safety

In two days October 24-25, the monitoring group of the Provincial People's Council led by its Standing Member Mai Thi Dung to supervise the implementation of laws and policies on the management of quality of food safety and hygiene in the province in the first nine months of 2012. The supervision mission will be conducted at some collective kitchens, restaurants, bars, street-side food shops, food production facilities, and meathouses in the areas Di An Town, Thuan An Town and Thu Dau Mot City. October 24, the group had site surveys at Pham Ton Co. Ltd., ASTI Co. Ltd. with catering kitchen offered by Hoa Mai Trade and Service Co. Ltd., Tan Hiep Phat Group, Vifaco Slaughterhouse in Di An and Thuan An Towns. The monitoring aims to investigate the management, direction and the implementation of legislation on food hygiene and safety regulations; evaluation of results, the existence and restriction from which to determine the cause and propose solutions and recommendations to ensure the plan, importantly contributing to ensure the effectiveness and progress of the target program of national food safety from 2012 to 2015 and national drive of food safety strategy for 2011-2020 and vision to 2030.
