Nearly VND 75 billion poured out to social policies

In the first 6 months of 2011, Binh Duong Province has moblized nearly VND 75 billion to implement social welfares for the poor. A recent survey conducted by Provincial People’s Committee shows that over 10,800 poor families (under new assessment criteria) are residing in the province and accounted for 4.34% of the total households in the province.
