Update: 06-08-2013 | 00:00:00

Till mid-2013, Tam Lap commune of Phu Giao district has had 78 farmsteads including 28 breeding ones and 50 farming ones. Despite difficulties, in the process of new rural building, Tam Lap has reached encouraging results. Up to now, the commune has won 6 out of 10 criteria of new rural building. These criteria include planning, irrigation, schooling, electricity, cooperative and political system. The locality has strived to win 10 criteria in the end of 2013.

However, like other localities, Tam Lap-based new rural building has encountered some difficulties of some improper criteria on healthcare, service, culture and so on. These obstacles have been improved by all level agencies.

Tam Lap has considered farmstead economy as a crucial lever for building new rural commune successfully. In this current production, most of farmsteads have met difficulties but these farmsteads in the commune have been overall developed stably.

Nguyen Van Pho added that to promote this model, local authority will set out supportive measures on scientific transfer, loan assistance and many more for these farmsteads’ owners. One of important measures in the coming time includes linkage of farmstead cooperatives for the sake of improving production and business’ efficiency.

As a locality with huge rubber plantations, Tam Lap communal authority has considered latex processing as a staple farm produce. Pho revealed that implementing this work well, local agricultural production will be improved and the local program on new rural building will reach successes.
