*Over the past time, provincial Labor Union handed over 20 “trade union” houses to needy laborers in Yen Bai, Son La, Quang Ngai, Binh Phuoc and Long An with a total expense of VND700million; supported more than VND2.4billion for the program of “Sentimental attachment to Truong Sa-Hoang Sa” in order to build a memorial site for Gac Ma soldiers…

*Under the Program of “Improving laborers’ professional skills” in association with the Project of “Boosting lifelong learning activities among laborers at firms till 2020”, the whole province last year had a total of 82 workers and civil servants to attend classes in order to improve their skills. Binh Duong Junior College of Technology and Trade Union Skills also made a comprehensive renewal for training trade union officials before the development of the fourth industrial revolution.

*In 2017, provincial Job Placement Center opened 12 training courses on unemployment insurance, food safety and hygiene…. The center also carried out consultancy on working abroad for laborers, took park in job transaction floors organized by other localities…

*With the spirit of “mutual affection, mutual love”, the Trade Union of Sao Viet Joint Stock Company over the past five years raised VND1billion for tens of trade unionists with fatal diseases or hit by labor accidents. The Trade Union also suggested the company’s directorate to set up a supermarket selling essential commodities like sugar, seasoning powder, rice…with cheap prices for laborers.
