Being a class monitor of Class 5C and captain of Children Pioneer Union of Luong The Vinh Elementary School of Thuan An Town, Ngo Thach Thao has always been an exemplary member of the Children Pioneer Union. Gifted with singing talent in her childhood and expressive fluent voice, her talent was soon developed. Throughout the four years, Ngo Thach Thao has actively participated in the group activities of dancing, storytelling, and MC in school programs or contests for children and has won numerous awards such as: prize contest of "Mang Non Radio" in Thuan An Town, the second prize in trio of "nightingales singing", third prize of "Hoa phuong do", second prize of "Mang Non Communication" at district level, and promotional prizes of storytelling organized by the district Youth's League, participation in "Uncle Ho's Children Festival". In the pioneer activities, Thao is a dynamic and enthusiastic captain, always at the forefront. With high sense of responsibility, she always encourages her peers to promote learning movement, to maintain order, and take care of the constructions. Activities and off-hour activities are organized by Thao varying in plenty of forms, attracting the members of Children Pioneer to follow. Thach Thao says: "Joining with the activities, I am happy and feel it very rewarding to make me more confident standing before everyone in the activities.
