North Tan Uyen’s youths with volunteer works

Over the past time, North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union and its branches actively implemented a variety of practical works for the sake of the community. This affirmed the volunteer role of the local youths in all aspects, making contributions to the local socio-economic development.

Sharing efforts in new rural construction

Upholding the volunteer role of “Youths joining hands in new rural construction”, North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union and its branches effectively many movements, namely “Volunteering for the community”, “Volunteering for socio-economic development”, “Volunteering in environmental protection”, “Accompanying youths in setting up their position in life and themselves in business”…

One of the local youths’ highlights in new rural construction over the past time was propaganda work. Thanks to the work well implemented, the local Youth Union members sufficiently knew about the goal and significance of the program for more concrete deeds. Many Youth Union branches were flexible in selecting deeds, fields when taking part in the local new rural construction program.

In 2018, 100% of communal-level Youth Union branches in the district have well realized the campaign of “Youths joining hands in new rural construction” with 44 youth works realized with a total cost of more than VND140million. The district’s Youth Union branches also carried out the movement of “civilized alley” with many practical contents such as making environmental hygiene, planting flowers on self-management youth streets. The district’s Youth Union also coordinated with the local Division of Economics to realize a “model youth canal” work with 1.5 kilometers…

Hallmark of “green T-shirt” soldiers

Nguyen Trong Nhan, Secretary of North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union said that over the past time, Youth Union members were proactive to implement numerous deeds in line with the local real situation, aiming to join hands to build up a more civilized, prosperous and beautiful North Tan Uyen. Some typical models were “Youth flower garden following Uncle Ho’s teachings”, “Voluntary Saturday”, “Green Sunday”…

Upholding their volunteer role, Youth Union members in the district got involved in such significant activities as taking part in solving social welfare issues, setting up the model of “Voluntary youths protecting the environment”…The district’s Youth Union also teamed up with the local Division of Natural Resources and Environment to organize a propaganda parade on environmental protection through main streets, clear canals…In addition, the district’s Youth Unions at all levels actively got involved in youth works for the community and the local socio-economic development; boosted on-site volunteer activities, including organizing “Voluntary Saturday”, “Green Sunday” campaigns, cleaning up monuments, agencies’ headquarters, hamlets’ offices…; well realized the movement of “paying debt of gratitude” with such significant activities as visiting, presenting gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy beneficiary families on Tet and great holidays, helping policy beneficiary families tidy up their houses…

“In the coming time, the district’s Youth Union Standing Committee will continue well maintaining youth models while researching to have more significant ones in order to uphold the volunteer role of Youth Union members”, added Mr.Nhan.
