Under the Project of “Supporting poor youth to set themselves up in business, rise out of poverty”, provincial Youth Union and its affiliates last year mobilized resources to build 20 houses of compassion and 6 works on clean water with a total value of VND650mln for 20 young youth-headed households in the province.

Provincial Youth Union and its affiliates also built and upgraded gratitude houses with a total expense of VND100mln.

*In 2013, Dau Tieng district’s Youth Union coordinated with the People’s Committee of Minh Thanh commune in Dau Tieng district to hold a meeting between the local leaders and young workers at Mai Thao Co.Ltd.

The district’s Youth Union also presented 30 gifts worth VND3mln each to alien young people with extremely difficult circumstances; teamed up with provincial Support Fund for Former Youth Volunteers, provincial Young Physicians’ Club to provide free medicine for 210 youngsters; gave 200 gifts worth VND20mln to the poor…

In addition, the district’s Youth Union organized weekend playgrounds and birthday parties for 5 young workers; joined hands with set up a trade union local at Mai Thao Co.Ltd. in Minh Thanh commune with 62 trade unionists.
