The Party cell of quarter 2 under the Party Committee of My Phuoc township in Ben Cat district now has 83 Party members. Under  the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” promoted, the Party cell has implemented many substantial activities, helping excellently fulfill the local political tasks and it has so far become an outstanding Party cell of My Phuoc township’s Party Committee in “Following Uncle Ho’s teaching”.

Huynh Minh Chien, Secretary of the Party cell of quarter 2 under the Party Committee of My Phuoc township said that the Party cell has built up resolutions, thoroughly grasped special subjects and documents, including “Late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals on thrift practice, corruption and wastefulness prevention”, “Improving working styles”…in order to promote the campaign of “Following Uncle Ho’s teaching”.

Under the instruction of the township’s Party Committee, the Party cell has supplemented moral standards towards briefness and suitability and they have been posted at the office of the quarter so that the quarter’s Party members can follow them. The Party cell has also maintained its political task of telling stories about Uncle Ho at its monthly meetings. The good ways have made a strong change in awareness and action of the local Party members and people from all strata. Last year, the Party cell implemented many practical models, including the model of “clever public relations” in association with the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”.

For example, under the model of “Raising piggy banks”, the quarter’s Veterans Society mobilized all staff and Party members to save VND20mln in order to help 4 poor households to overcome difficulties. The quarter’s Women’s Union also promoted the models of “Each member gets involved in a good deed”, “Golden Heart Fund”…while the quarter’s Society for the Elderly set up many clubs for art performance, Taichi…

Thanks to the quarter’s efforts in preventing diseases, there were no children under 5 with malnutrition for many years. The quarter has also paid attention to talent and learning promotion. Hence, the whole quarter now has 30 students studying abroad and 900 others attending domestic colleges and universities. The quarter has always maintained the local order, security and traffic safety. There were more than 95% of households recognized as “cultural ones”. For many consecutive years, the Party cell has won the title of “pure and strong” Party cell.

Especially, the quarter’s Party cell has sorted out 6 main streets for the model of “Clear road and pavement”. The quarter’s mass organizations in collaboration with self-management group on environmental protection and Party members have propagandized and mobilized the local people to raise their awareness of environmental protection. In Q2 alone, 84 cadres, Party members and people of the quarter got involved in tidying up streets under the above model…
