Over 1,000 poor people helped in April

In April 2015, provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) has held a delegation to visit and present gifts worth VND707mln, extracted  from provincial Fund for the Poor, to officials, soldiers and the families of martyrs in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai, who were increased for TDM city province during the struggle against American imperialism.

Provincial FFCs have also joined hands with Bau Bang, North Tan Uyen districts and Ben Cat town to carry out rural traffic works funded by HCM city. They have also made a survey on policy beneficiary families’ demand for essential home decoration equipment. The whole province is now home to 66 heroic Vietnamese mothers and 28 policy beneficiary families in need of essential home decoration equipment.

In addition, they have implemented the 2015 plan raising money for the Fund for the Poor. They have also mobilized enterprises, religious organizations and donors to support nearly VND2bln for 1,039 poor people via many social welfare programs.
