Over 100 workers join up blood donation in Tan Uyen town

The Steering Committee for voluntary blood donation in Tan Uyen Town in collaboration with the Center for Hematology and Blood Transfusion at Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh city has just organized a voluntary blood donation in 2022 at OPC Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company at Tan Hoa quarter of Tan Vinh Hiep ward.

For the time, more than 115 volunteers who are officials, workers and employees of the company participated in blood donation. After examining and screening, the program organizers received 94 blood units of 32,900ml of blood in an activity of noble and humane gesture promoting the spirit of humane care of the nation.

It is known that up to now, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Tan Uyen town has mobilized to donate 1,537 units of 532,950ml of blood, contributing to helping patients in treatment of especially severe cases or surgery that requires a lot of blood transfusion.
