Phu Giao focuses on building new rural areas

Phu Giao district Party Committee just held the 4th district party committee congress to assess socio-economic situation and political system building in the first half of this year.

Reportedly, the local agro-forestry production value in the first half of this year reached VND248bil, a 5.6% rise from the same period last year and won 39.83% of 2011’s plan whilst the industrial and handicraft production values reaped VND340bil, a 16.84% increase from the same period last year, reaching 44.21% from this year’s plan whilst its total retail value won VND697bil, a 33.2% increase.

The local rate of pupils passing final exams is highest in the province. The quality of culture and society is improved significantly.

In the remaining months of this year, the party committee steered all level agencies and mass bodies to spur agriculture development in combination with new rural building…
