Phu Giao offers online learning equipment to students with difficult circumstances

Early February 21, Phu Giao district’s Division of Education and Training (DoET) organized a program donating online learning equipment to the local students with difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, the district’s DoET offered 20 sets of tablets and online teaching equipment worth VND50million allocated by provincial Department of Education and Training to 20 disadvantaged students from the local primary and secondary schools. VNPT Phu Giao district also cooperated with VNPT Binh Duong to give 73 4G sim-enabled tablets and online teaching equipment worth VND 197 million for 73 local disadvantaged students.

Speaking at the event, Dang Thanh Tuan, Head of the district’s DoET hoped that after receiving online learning support devices, students will be guided to use them effectively by teachers and parents…

This was an activity in response to the program of "Waves and computers for children" launched by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. As of now, all-level authorities and sectors in Phu Giao district have mobilized donors to support hundreds of online learning devices for students with difficult circumstances while creating the best conditions for them to keep up with the program during the school year.
