Propaganda conference on international economic integration held

On May 30, provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) in collaboration with the Office of the Inter-sectoral Steering Committee for International Economic Integration organized a propaganda conference on international economic integration.

Speaking at the conference, leaders of provincial DoIT said that over the past time, Binh Duong province has actively expanded bilateral and multilateral cooperation in many fields. To date, the province has established bilateral cooperative relationships with 11 foreign provinces, cities and become an official member and reliable partner of 3 international organizations, including the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF), the Horasis Asia Meeting and World Trade Center Association.

At the conference, experts from the Office of the Inter-sectoral Steering Committee for International Economic Integration, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Asia-Africa Market Department and the Ministry of Finance’s Department of International Cooperation shared about the process of Vietnam's international economic integration over the past time and orientation for implementing international economic integration in the coming time; opportunities and challenges for the province's businesses regarding the tariff reduction roadmap under the commitments in the Vietnam - Israel Free Trade Agreement.

From the useful information at the conference, the organization board hopes to create new relationships and new cooperation, contributing to the development of the province's international economic integration process and creating a strong, sustainable development environment for the business community of the province as well as the whole country.
