Province further reaches positive results in socio-economic development

The Executive Board of provincial Party Committee, on April 9, convened its 26th session with focus on reviewing the local socio-economic development, national defence-security in Q1, 2019 and defining major tasks for Q2 of the year. Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation chaired the session.

The overal view of the session

Reportedly, the province reached many positive results in socio-economic development; continued maintaining the local political security and social order-safety. The province’s index of industrial production surged 7.16% compared to the same period last year. The province’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services was estimated at more than VND57trillion. The province’s export-import value continued growing up. In addition, the province attracted more than VND12.9trillion and US$773million in domestic and FDI capital. The province’s State budget collection was VND14.7trillion, up 18% against the same period last year or 27% of provincial People’s Council’s estimate. In Q2, 2019, the province will concentrate on some major tasks, including putting focus on entrusted tasks by the Government, Primer Minister, provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee; making a report on the implementation of provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs for the period of 2016 and 2020; well realizing the 2019 population and housing census; further setting up support policies for startup businesses; keeping watch on the situation of diseases in crop plants and domestic animals; tightening control over urban order and rejuvenation; continuing streamlining the apparatus …
