Province marks the 63rd traditional day of Vietnamese young volunteers

Early July 12, provincial Association for Former Young Volunteers grandly held a ceremony to mark the 63rd Traditional Day of Vietnamese Young Volunteers (July 15, 1950-July 15, 2013) and honor exemplary role-models in the movements of the association over the past time. At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the tradition of Vietnamese young volunteers during the two resistance war against French colonialists and American imperialists. Vu Minh Sang, Permanent Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Council praised positive contributions made by young volunteers over periods while hoping that the local young volunteer generations would further uphold the good tradition of Vietnamese young voluntary force by practical activities to build up a prosperous and beautiful Binh Duong.

On this occasion, 21 individuals were honored for their excellent performance in the movements of provincial Association for Former Young Volunteers. The association also presented 30 gifts worth VND300,000 each to war invalids.
