Province’s export turnover up 10.3%

According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s export turnover in the first six months of 2024 was estimated at more than US$ 16,299 billion, reaching 48% of the annual plan and increasing by 10.3% compared to the same period last year. Of these, the domestic economic sector contributed US$3,071 billion, an increase of 11.2% while the foreign direct investment (FDI) sector contributed US$13,227 million, an increase of 10.1%.

In June 2024 alone, the province’s export turnover was estimated at US$ 2,887.9 million, up 7.1% from the previous month and 8.3% from the same period last year. Specifically, the domestic economic sector achieved US$545.7 million, up 6.7% from the previous month and 8.8% from the same period last year while the FDI sector reached US$2,342.2 million, up 7.2% from the previous month and 8.2% from the same period last year.
