Province strives to excel 2011’s tasks

Reportedly, in the first 9 months of this year, the local socio-economic situation showed positive changes. Accordingly, the provincial People’s Committee set out solutions to timely solve difficulties and shortcomings for business and production promotion.

The total GDP in the province surged 13.7% from the same period last year, of which industrial and construction areas increased 9.7%, service 23.1%, agro-forestry and aquatic field 2.3%.

Industrial production remained at fair growth rate. The industrial production value in the first 9 months of this year reached VND85,164bil, a 17.5% rise from the same period last year. The total retail of goods and service turnover won VND41,366bil, a 29.7% increase whilst export revenue obtained nearly US$7bil, a 19.2% rise from the same period last year.

Since the start of this year, the provincial People’s Committee has continued to set out solutions for completion of 2011’s tasks and focus on launching action plans synchronously and effectively.
