Provincial delegation visits and works with JICA

Early June 14, provincial delegation, led by Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation visited and worked with the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Tokyo. Keiichiro Nakazawa, Senior Vice President of the JICA, received the delegation.

At the working session, leaders of the JICA affirmed their support for projects in Binh Duong province and continued studying and considering options to support Binh Duong during the implementation process. For projects involving many provinces such as the railway ones, the JICA wanted to discuss and exchange with agencies in charge. Mr.Loi highly appreciated and thanked the JICA for its official development assistance (ODA) loans for projects in Binh Duong province.

Mr.Loi also said that Binh Duong wants to deploy an industrial railway project connecting to Thi Vai port in the region. Binh Duong will further start construction of many major roads, namely the belt roads 3, 4, Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh expressway, thereby connecting airports and seaports..., creating momentum and new development space for the locality.

He would like to thank JICA leaders and associates for their efforts in supporting the project to improve public transport infrastructure in Binh Duong province while inviting JICA leaders to Binh Duong in the coming time ...

On the afternoon of the same day, the delegation also visited and worked with Tokyu Corporation.
