Provincial Former Youth Volunteers Association takes good care of members’ spiritual and material lives

Early December 25, provincial Former Youth Volunteers Association held a conference to review its activities in 2014 and define orientations, tasks through 2015.

The association in 2014 excelled at propaganda activities, raising public awareness of the national pride, the significance of great holidays, the tradition of youth volunteers, the Party and State’s policies…The association also teamed up with relevant agencies to deal with 107 youth volunteers’ documents asking for one-time allowances; presented 2 houses of compassion worth VND70mln and 8 saving books to needy members; supported VND30mln for Vietnamese Maritime Police Force…

In 2015, the association will set achievements in celebration of its 3^rd Congress; further promote emulation movements, improve its activities and take good care of members with difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, Dau Tieng district’s Former Youth Volunteers Association was awarded the excellent emulation banner. Five outstanding individuals received the certificates of merit of the Vietnam Former Youth Volunteers Association. Eight others were also presented saving books worth VND5mln each.
