Provincial leaders congratulate local Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board on occasion of Buddha’s 2560th birthday

Early May 16, a delegation of provincial leaders, led by Nguyen Thanh Liem, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission of Public Relations visited, congratulated provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board and Buddhist dignitaries at Hoi An pagoda in TDM city’s Hoa Phu ward on the occasion of the 2560^th birthday of Buddha.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Liem spoke highly of great contributions by provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board, Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers to the local socio-economic development while wanting that the local Buddhist community will continue well practising the motto of “good religion, good life” and pay more attention to social charity activities.

Superior Buddhist monk Thich Hue Thong, Head of provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board expressed his delight at the attention of provincial leaders on the local Buddhist affairs over the past time. He also wanted that provincial Buddhist Sangha will receive more attention from the local administration, joining hands with the local Party, army and people to build up a more prosperous and beautiful homeland.
