In the morning of November 3rd, PPC Chairman Nguyen Hoang Son hosted the 92nd session approving draft proposals and resolutions on allowances paid to public militias, hamlets’ security leaders.
Provincial Army Command Headquarter has proposed to increase work day allowances to public militias, monthly allowances to hamlets’ security leaders, and to maximize insurance premium supports to non-specialized forces.
Provincial Public Security has proposed designate 1 deputy security leader and 2 police officers to each hamlet. As for hamlets in serious security situations, the designation will not exceed 2 deputy leaders and 6 permanent police officers. Sub-hamlets of serious security situations can have 2 police officers.
As for policies, security leaders and police officers will be offered additional allowance equivalent to 30% of currently receivable salary and allowances.
In the afternoon of the same day, PPC Chairman Nguyen Hoang Son continued hosting the session to approve other draft proposals and resolutions in fields of poverty reduction, education, and environment protection. Accordingly, new regulations on poverty line are proposed for 2011-2015 period; tuition reduction in national public education system is proposed for school years from 2010 to 2015; environment protection plans for Binh Duong province are proposed for 2011-2015 period.
After the session, PPC Chairman Nguyen Hoang Son basically agreed with the draft proposals and asserted that the approved contents are close to reality in the coming period.
