Provincial People’s Procuracy holds year-end meeting

Morning 26^th Jan, provincial People’s Procuracy held a meeting to summarize works in 2014 and deploy tasks in 2015. Central Party Committee’s Member cum provincial Party Committee’s Secretary, provincial NA delegation’s Head Mr. Mai The Trung; and Central Party Committee’s Member cum Supreme People's Procuracy’s Head Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh chaired the meeting.

According to the report, in 2014, provincial People’s Procuracy completed assigned tasks, met and exceeded targets. Provincial People’s Procuracy held conferences to disseminate Directive 06/CT-VKSTC dated 6^th Dec 2013 stipulated by the Supreme People's Procuracy among all staff, prosecutors. The Directive was about strengthening investigation, increasing fight against crime; formulating regulations to implement well prosecution functions, tasks and control judicial activities; supervising 100% denouncements, crime reports, and prosecution recommendations handled by investigation agencies.

During the year, provincial People’s Procuracy handled 4684 denouncements, crime reports. Regarding practicing public prosecution and investigation, the sector also accomplished tasks assigned by Resolution 37/2012/QH13 and Resolution No. 63/NQ/QH13 of the National Assembly...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh appreciated achievements of provincial People’s Procuracy, and stressed that in 2015 the sector continued to perform well missions, prepare for Party congress according to Directive 36-CT/TW of the Politburo, promote emulation, celebrate Party congress, national holidays, and the 55^th People’s Procuracy anniversary…

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh also presented the flag “Outstanding unit in emulation movement 2014” to provincial People’s Procuracy.
