Provincial Program on “Improving the quality of human resources for 2016-2010 period” approved

Early April 21, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Committee presided over a meeting to approve a draft program implementing the Resolution of the 10th provincial Party Congress on “Improving the quality of human resources for 2016-2010 period”.

The objectives of the program are to build up human resources with quantity and occupational structure in line with the shift of the local economic structure towards the growth of services-industrial manufacture in association with the local urbanization process; bend on training human resources, including managerial, sci-tech cadres and workers, at requirements of the local development in the new context. Accordingly, the province will strive to bring the ratio of laborers trained to 80% and there will be 60% of laborers under vocational training. The province will also give training on foreign languages for State employees in some fields at the local requirements of foreign relation and international integration; continue absorbing highly-skilled laborers…

Addressing the meeting, Mr.Liem said that human resources are seen as the key to the local success based on industrialization, modernization and urbanization. Training human resources need to be focused on some fields, especially education-training and health.

He also conducted provincial Department of Home Affairs to recheck human resources trained over the past time in order to assess the effectiveness of the training work at the set objectives to serve the local development. For orientations for human resource development till 2020, the province will concentrate on training qualified human resources in a synchronous way; map out policies to attract leading experts; boost career orientation among pupils…
