To keep environmental sanitation, members of women union at all levels always join in environmental protection work.

In this year, the provincial Women Union’s environmental protection movement focused on the national week for clean water and environmental sanitation, taken place on April 29 to May 6. Accordingly, the union at all levels promulgated reason, impact of pollution and climate change to members. During the week, the union at all levels held 347 promulgations with the participation of 15,000 sisters.

Besides, the union at all levels launched movements of cleaning rural roads, planting green trees and mobilizing over 400 sisters not to encroach pavements…

In response to the movements, Nguyen Thi Quyen in Di An ward, said “I often join in cleaning streets and realize sisters’ awareness on environmental protection has been improved”.

In addition, 30 clubs of “Improving community health”, “Women and environment” and so on have upheld efficiency. The union’s members always lead in campaigns of environmental protection.
