“Red cross” house donated to a needy household in Thoi Hoa

*Gifts presented to the poor in Tay Ninh

On May 10, Ben Cat town’s Red Cross Society in collaboration with My Phuoc Customs Sub-department, Kumho Vietnam Tyre Co.Ltd. and Tan Dinh ward’s People’s Committee held a ceremony to hand over a “red cross” house to Tran Thi Trong in Thoi Hoa ward’s quarter 1.

The 60sq.m houses has a total cost of VND100mln, including VND65mln from Kumho Vietnam Tyre Co.Ltd. and the remainder from her family. At the ceremony, her family was also given essential gifts.

*The same day, the Red Cross Society of Tan Binh ward in Di An town and Thien Phuoc pagoda held a delegation to visit and present 300 gifts worth VND105mln to the poor, the handicapped and Agent Orange victims in Tay Ninh province’s Tan Chau district. These gifts were funded by Thien Phuoc pagoda’s Buddhist followers.
