Early June 20, at Binh Duong Provincial Military HQ, the Provincial People’s Committee held a conference to sum up implementation of Directive No. 487/CT-TTg dated July 3, 1997 of Prime Minister on organization of War Veteran Association in professional agencies and state-own enterprises. Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Huynh Van Nhi host the conference.As reported, two senior grouping of war veterans with 41 ones in the grassroots and 60 sub-associations have been established through years with 861 members.Addressing the conference, Deputy Chair Huynh Van Nhi asserted that the association role has been improved among professional agencies and state-own enterprises; however, harmonious operations have been still in questions which required the leadership to be more devoted.Reported by Thu Thao – Translated by Vi Bao
