The output of rose in Central Highland province of Lam Dong decreases 30-40% on Valentine's Day of this year. This move makes rose’s prices skyrocket. A rose is sold for VND3,000-5,500 (a double increase from ordinary days). A red rose is priced at VND5,000-5,500.
Da Lat-based rose garden owners, said owing to bad weather, the output of rose plunges in this year.
