Early Dec.24, Viet Nam Electronics Industries Association (VEIA) and provincial Department of Industry and Trade jointly organized a seminar on guidance of building corporate social responsibility (CSR) with the participation of representatives of more than 20 businesses in industries of electronics, garment, footwear and some relevant industries.

 The overall of the CSR project and its partners; the implementation of CSR of electronics, garment and footwear industries; the ISO 26000; the “cookbook” and other matters relating to CSR…were introduced at the seminar.

 This is the 9th seminar on building CSR held in 2010 in many provinces and cities nationwide. It aims to provide province-based businesses with useful information about CSR while listening to their ideas on the State’s policies in industries as well as their difficulties in the process of realizing the CSR project.
