Seminar themed “90 years of Vietnamese revolutionary press – tradition and responsibility”

April 17, Binh Duong provincial Journalists’ Society held a seminar themed “90 years of Vietnamese revolutionary press – tradition and responsibility” with the participation of Bui Huu Toan, vice head of the provincial Committee for Education and Propaganda, Pham Thuy Ngoc Ha, vice director of the provincial department of Information and Communication, Nguyen Quang Hiep, chairman of the provincial Journalists’ Society cum editor-in-chief of Binh Duong Newspaper and delegates of the executive board of the provincial Journalists’ Society and more.

Addressing the seminar opening ceremony, Nguyen Quang Hiep, chairman of the provincial Journalists’ Society cum editor-in-chief of Binh Duong Newspaper suggested delegates to make clear results and shortcomings of local and national press.

At the seminar, participants’ thesis tracked back glorious tradition of Vietnamese revolutionary press. In addition, many issues relating to press skills were debated at the event in a bid to improve responsibility and morality of journalists.

The event also celebrated the 65^th anniversary of Vietnamese Journalists Association and the 90^th anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day.
