Significant activities held during 2015 national Workers’ Month, provincial Week for Young Workers

Many significant activities for young workers are being organized across the province in response to the 2015 national Workers’ Month, provincial Week for Young Workers.

Tan Uyen town will organize a ceremony to launch the 2015 national Workers’ Month, provincial Week for Young Workers on the evening of May 10 at South Tan Uyen industrial park in Khanh Binh ward. The ceremony will take place with many fun-filled activities, including art performances, a pageant named “The Beauty of female young workers”, a contest for propaganda dancing groups…

The activity of selling commodities at basic price will continue being organized at festivals for young workers during the 2015 Workers’ Month

Prior to that, Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union will team up with the town’s Health Center, Young Physicians’ Club, Police Agency and Women’s Union to provide free medical check-ups and medicine for 100 young workers with difficult circumstances; kick off a competition on the Road Law and organize a forum on young workers’ will and thought.

The town’s Youth Union will also work with the town’s Center for Politics to organize a class on national defence-security for young workers, according to Youth Union Secretary Dinh Quoc Phu. The communal/ward-level branches of the local Youth Union will hold at least one cultural-sports activity for young workers while mobilizing social resources to support young workers with difficult circumstances.

In response to the 2015 national Workers’Month, provincial Week for Young Workers, North Tan Uyen district will organize a festival for young workers at 15pm of May 10 with a variety of practical activities at Dat Cuoc industrial park in Dat Cuoc commune. The district’s Youth Union and provincial Support Center for Young Laborers will also jointly open booths on free haircut, legal support…for young workers at the festival.

Besides, the organizers will organize many other significant activities, including folk games, talk shows on “young workers and Uncle Ho”… This is also a chance for young workers to show their art performance ability via a signing competition entitled “Love of Vietnam’s people and land”.

Di An town is now home to a large number of young workers. Hence, the town has attached special importance to taking care of young workers’ lives. To Tran Bao Lam, Secretary of Di An town’s Youth Union, the town’s Youth Union will focus on well organizing activities at a ceremony to launch this year’s Workers’ Month, provincial Week for Young Workers.  During the launching program, young workers have a chance to buy commodities at basic price from Mai Thu One-Member Co.Ltd., Long Thuan Co. and Phan Thiet Fish Sauce Co,; enjoy free haircut and participate in activities of Head Honda An Thanh…

The program will get more animated with a variety show themed “Singing with young workers”. Young workers will have a chance to exchange with well-known singers from HCM city and enjoy dancing items from the local youngsters.

Along with other localities, Dau Tieng district will speed up propaganda work, raising young workers’ awareness of the law. At Hung Thin Gia Co.Ltd. in An Lap commune, the district’s steering board of activities for children and teenagers will also honor outstanding youths and give gifts for those with difficult circumstances; simultaneously direct the improvement of quality of officials who are in charge of the project on uniting and gathering young workers…

Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of provincial Youth Union said: “Diverse activities during the 2015 Workers’ Month will practically care for the spiritual and material lives of workers living and working in Binh Duong. This is also a chance for the local Youth Union to propagandize and raise the role of young workers, contributing to building up Vietnamese working class in the intensified period of national industrialization and modernization.
