With the motto of “learning in parallel with practice”, vocational training for rural laborers in the province reaches significant results. Over the past 5 years, many rural laborers have gained a stable income after participating in short-term vocational training classes co-held by the provincial department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and departments, agencies and localities.

Learning in parallel with practice

After participating in the course on planting and taking care of ornamental trees at Chanh Phu Hoa commune People’s Committee (now Chanh Phu Hoa ward), she turns orchid pots into an orchid garden for business.

Her family spends money for investing in a 2,500sqm orchid garden. In addition, she manages to learn how to arrange bouquets for increasing income. At present, her income has reached over VND20mil per month. This model has contributed to place jobs for 10 sisters in this ward.
