Police, military forces, adoanh nghiệp traffic inspectors coordinated to control vehicles entering Binh Duong at the checkpoint of Vinh Binh bridge on National Highway 13 at Vinh Phu ward of Thuan An city.

Entries to Binh Duong tightly controlled
At 0:00 on July 19, along with 18 southern provinces and cities, Binh Duong implemented social distancing across the province according to Directive 16 of the Prime Minister within 14 days.

At the gateway adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City, the disease control checkpoint of Vinh Binh Bridge at Vinh Phu Ward of Thuan An City, functional forces have strengthened control of conditions for people and vehicles getting through Binh Duong. Many vehicles have been forced to turn around because the drivers did not have a negative Covid-19 test certificates or such certificates have expired.
At this checkpoint, even though it rained, the forces still organized to stop the vehicle from outside the gateway to Binh Duong. Most drivers knew the regulations that require a negative test certificate for Covid-19 to be allowed to continue traveling into Binh Duong, so they have complied. Lieutenant Tu Minh Quang, an officer of the provincial Military Command, shared that in the past few days, the forces at the gateway to Binh Duong via Vinh Binh bridge have always been highly focused on controlling people and vehicles to Binh Duong from Ho Chi Minh city. Through inspection, the force resolutely forced all vehicles into the area where the drivers did not have negative SARS-CoV-2 test certificates or expired paper to turn back.

Fines administered on getting out without necessary reasons

Also in Thuan An city, on the first day of implementing social distancing in the whole province, in Lai Thieu ward, the leaders of the People's Committee of the ward and the forces went out to inspect and handle violations of Directive 16, especially the cases that people go out when it's not really necessary. Many shops selling essential and non-essential goods were also reminded and forced to close by the functional forces.

In Thu Dau Mot city, in the past few days, functional forces have also taken actions to handle many cases of social distancing violations according to Directive 16 of the Prime Minister applied earlier.

On July 19, inspection teams of wards continued to inspect and handle violations. Thereby, the forces made a record of sanctioning 46 cases of administrative violations with a total fine of more than VND 86 million. Currently, Thu Dau Mot city has reviewed and consolidated 1,650 community Covid-19 groups in the wards with about 8,730 members. Each group has 3-5 members and is in charge of 40-50 households to contribute to the investigation, tracing, sampling, testing, etc. Besides, the city also established 1,450 Zalo information groups of community Covid-19 groups including 405 groups in hostels and social housing, contributing to the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.

Along with localities that are applying Directive 16 of the Prime Minister, other localities that have applied Directive 16 for the first time in the 4th epidemic including Phu Giao and Bac Tan Uyen districts that have also taken measures to  implement quickly, closely and drastically the contents of the directive.
