Striving to have 50% of hospitals, medical facilities with digital platforms in early 2023

In order to promote hospitals and medical facilities in use of digital platforms, provincial Department of Health issued a plan on "Supporting and promoting digital transformation, non-cash payment at hospitals, medical facilities”.

Accordingly, provincial Department of Health will strive to have 50% of hospitals and health facilities with digital platforms for digital transformation in early 2023; 50% of hospitals and health facilities in use of non-cash payment methods to pay for hospital fees and other medical transactions. To achieve this goal, the local hospitals and health facilities need to be supported with infrastructure, network connection lines, material facilities and equipment for remote medical examination and treatment; implement digital transformation, applying technology in management and professional activities. The health sector will also promote non-cash payment. Accordingly, hospitals and health facilities actively coordinate with banks, credit institutions and units providing this payment service.
