Tan Uyen city eyes trade and service value increase by 24.21%

People's Committee of Tan Uyen city estimated that the total retail sales of goods and revenue from consumer services in the first 6 months of 2024 reached 13,924 billion VND, an increase of 24.21% compared to the same period and accounting for 51.19% of the resolution of the People's Council. In the first 6 months of 2024, the city's People's Committee granted business registration certificates to 885 with a total capital of 378.73 billion VND, which was an increase of 14.515 billion VND compared to the same period last year.

The functional departments of the city have conducted inspections of the market and commercial activities with 31 cases, detecting and imposing administrative fines on 30 violations with a total fine amount of 396 million VND. Currently, Tan Uyen city is focusing on directing the inspection and survey of business activities of temporary markets in the area; strengthening market inspection and control, especially the fight against smuggling and food safety; ensuring a stable and sufficient market for shopping needs; preventing hoarding and causing market instability.
